Acting as a simulated electric vehicle, it enables quick, standards-compliant measurements when paired with compatible Metrel multifunction installation testers.
Designed around IEC / EN 61851 requirements, the adapter facilitates testing of single- and three-phase EVSE up to 32 A, providing clear access to Phase, Neutral and Protective Earth terminals as well as Control Pilot (CP) and Proximity Pilot (PP) circuits. By selecting vehicle states (A, B, C, D) and PP current codings, the user can trigger charger responses, check RCD operation and verify correct wiring—all without the need for an actual EV on site.
